About Us
"Straight Up Ministries" is the name of our youth group here at Aldersgate UMC. As the Director of Student Ministries, I have the privilege of working with teens in all walks of faith. Some of them are new learners and others have been believers for many years. Taking this into consideration, our youth program has many different elements to help EVERYONE experience the gift of God's love in a way that is comfortable for their own personal style.
Our purpose is to be an advocate for youth and help them become advocates for each other, while guiding them into a deeper relationship with Christ; as well as to create a community where all youth feel included and loved as children of God.
